Christmas Already

First layout of our new little princess - Cheekah May. Using KI Memories and Crate Paper.

My husband and I - Gladstone June 07. Using Basic Grey, K & Co and Pink Pailsee.

Our family in June 07 - Using SEI Papers

I can not believe that is already Christmas time. We have my family visiting this year - I am so excited. They have never been to Newman before so I cant wait. Neither can Seekara - she tells me everyday that Nanna is coming for Christmas.

A lot has happened since my last blog entry. In November, RTlicious won the Newman chamber of Commerce Small Business Awards. Very exciting! Just this week, Rhonda and I also went down to Perth and had a really enjoyable few days doing trade classes with Printblocks Michelle Hartjes and K & Co Team Designer Lynette Carol. We had so much fun making projects and meeting other store owners.

Well lots to do. Make sure you check out the RTlicious website for information regarding our 2009 January retreat. We have Julie van Oosten coming as a special guest teacher.

Merry Christmas to you all

Some recent projects

This was a recent class at RTlicious called Sugared. Rhonda also made a complimenting layout. Kits are still available online at www.rtlicious.com.au. They are a beautiful kit.
I recently had some fun with the poppies and flourishes on the new Cricut Storybook cartridge with my Fetish layout. Love the poppies on this cartridge.
Here is a layout using the jumbled four feature on the Cricut Graphically Speaking Cartridge.
The Keepsakes Tin was a recent class at RTlicious. These are lovely ideas to give as a gift or to keep little knick knacks or embellishments in. Kits are available for $15 from RTlicious online. Alcohol inks were used to embellish the tin and glimmer mist and cuttlebugs were used to decorate the Collections Ozzie Owel and branch.

Men can do it too!

I was just sorting out my albums last night when I came across this page that my hubby did approximately a year ago. He decided one day that seeing I was always doing pages of everyone else that it would be nice to do one for me. It was such a nice surprise. I love how he has never done a page before but had the nous to do a bit of blade work around the flowers LOL! Thanks babe.

Collections Houses

These 3D Collections are so much fun. I just used some different scrap papers to make these little houses come to life. Before you knew it I had a little village. To make these little houses come along to RTlicious on the 13th September, 2PM for a Make & Take.

My First Hybrid Layout

This was so much fun. I really wanted to give hybrid scrapping a go after my husband bought me a fantastic printer for my birthday. The picture is of Seekara in the Hinterlands, Queensland, June 2007.

I recently completed this one. I captured my thoughts on my body image after pregnancy on a hidden journal tag so that my journalling would not be public.

Sweet Happy Sunshine

Having a newborn, I have not managed to find a lot of spare time to create something I actually like. I had a lot of fun putting together this bright page though. I love this photo of Seekara and Kya in Newman last November.

Waiting it out....

Well we are now in Perth waiting for the big arrival of our second child. I have kept myself occupied with 14 new layouts. I thought this would be ample for the week but I have managed to go through it all in five days and had to hang out two whole days for my husband to arrive with extra supplies! Like a naughty little girl I ahd to visit a local scrapbook store to get some supplies to keep myself occupied - I managed to make myself a cute little recipe tin which I cant wait to fill.

I actually planned about 30 extra pages to do whilst I am down here but I know I will be done with them in no time - unless bub decides to come early! I cant wait to download some of them but I will have to wait to get back to Newman where I can download them to my slideshow and computer.

So I am madly trying to get as much done as possible down here before bub comes. Although I am sure I will still manage to put tooth picks in my eyes and stay up late to get my scrapping therapy done when bub arrives - I cant help myself!

Just a quick thanks to those asking about little Seekara yesterday - the op went really well. She was a bit sore last night but woke up as her normal giggly self this morning - we even had the singing return today.

Will keep you posted...

12 hour session

RTlicious had a 12 hour crop on Saturday 7th June 2008 at the Newman Neighbourhood Centre. The ladies were pamepered whilst they worked on their Unfinished projects or started on some new projects.

Rhonda and I even managed to finish a few projects ourselves. Thanks to all the ladies that particapted on the day.

The most common comment - we need more of these days and when is the next one? We will let you know soon ladies.

Baby Shower

Well I had the biggest suprise today. I thought I was going to a Tupperware party. When I arrived at the party it ended up being my baby shower. It was such a nice suprise. Thanks to Renee and Rhonda Smithers for organising it all. And a big thanks to the people there that made it special.

I had to show you a pic of the gorgeous decorations clever Renee made using the Cricut and the New Arrivals cartridge. They were a beautiful touch. Renee even made the invites using the nappy diecut on this cartridge. What a fantastic idea - thanks Renee!

Keep smiling

Hi

I thought I would give blogging a go. I thought it would be a wonderful way storing layouts and keeping people up to date with the business (RTlicious Scrapbooking - www.rtlicious.com.au) as well as life in the Wilson household. Check out my slideshow for some of my latest layouts.

Hope you enjoy my blog.
